Nicole Westerfield is the SLA assistant dean for marketing and communications. In addition to developing the school’s strategic marketing plan, she oversees the website, newsletter, and print materials. Nicole works as the staff liaison for the undergraduate curriculum committee, nominating committee, as well as faculty academic leaves. Before joining Tulane in 2006, she worked in New York at Media Logic and News America Marketing. A New Orleans native, Nicole received her master’s degree in media and culture from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, and bachelor’s degrees in organizational communication and psychology from the University of North Carolina.
