Shellond Chester is the assistant dean of finance for the School of Liberal Arts. She oversees all financial activities affecting the SLA dean’s office and SLA departments and programs. Shellond also manages the operating budgets and restricted budgets for the School of Liberal Arts. She consults with department chairs and administrative staff on financial and personnel/hiring decisions. She confers with the dean and/or departmental units regarding all budget management issues and consults with the SLA dean on SLA faculty administrative procedures. Shellond also serves as the program administrator for the School of Liberal Arts Management Minor (SLAMM.)
Shellond earned her MBA degree from the Freeman School of Business and her BBA degree from Loyola University’s College of Business.
