Caroline Parris

Graduate Student

Biography

Caroline Parris is a Ph.D. Candidate in Anthropology at Tulane University, Collections Manager at the Middle American Research Institute, and Ceramicist for the La Corona Regional Archaeological Project (PRALC).  She earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Sewanee: The University of the South (2008) and an M.A. in Anthropology from Tulane University (2011). Her academic interests include ancient Maya social dynamics and prehistoric pottery.  Her dissertation research explores the nuances of Late Classic Maya feasting at the site of La Corona, Peten, Guatemala.
