Elizabeth Kalos-Kaplan

Elizabeth A. Kalos-Kaplan earned her PhD in 2016 from Tulane University, where she currently serves as a postdoctoral fellow. She specializes in 20th century American and African-American literature, with particular interest in travel writing, transnational and diasporic identity, and Caribbean studies. Her current book project examines depictions of Haitian Voodoo in U.S. popular culture and literature.
