Biography

Matt Johnson is a native New Orleanian and has been a professional guitar player in New Orleans for over twenty years. He has performed with established jazz musicians such as Hank Mackie, Tim Laughlin, Steve Masakowski, and Ellis Marsalis.  He plays solo guitar and has a trio that performs regularly at restaurants such as the Three Muses and The Bombay club.  Matt has received an undergraduate and masters degree in jazz performance from the University of New Orleans.
