Biography

C.M. Sukala received his Ph.D. in Political Theory from Louisiana State University. His dissertation, “Buddhism, Liberalism, and the Problem of Politics,” focuses on the compatibility of traditional Buddhist political thought with the foundations of modern, liberal political life in the West. He has previously studied at the University of Toronto (M.A., Political Theory) and Saint Vincent College (B.A., Political Science). His teaching and research interests include comparative political thought, political theology, and the political theory of the American founding.
