Current Research Projects

I am currently studying the process of adoption of genetically modified (GM) soybeans in Argentina, its socio-ecological consequences, and Argentines’ responses to this ongoing agrarian transformation. The goal of this research is to contribute to debates on GM biotechnology in the Global South; and, more broadly, to contribute to discussions on the dynamics of agrarian and rural transformations, technological adoption and resistance, and the relationship between ecological modification and social change.
