Tulane University Orchestra (Maxim Samarov, director) presents its Spring Concert. The centerpiece of the concert is the immortal fantasy-overture Romeo and Juliet by Tchaikovsky. Also on the program is the world premiere of Pangolin and the Ants by graduate composition student Stephen Montalvo; the winners of the annual Concerto/Aria contest Leah Kaplan and Elizabeth Dao are featured in works by Mozart, Charpentier, and Shostakovich. Free admission.
