The Neuroscience PhD Student Social is a new event that the Neuroscience department is organizing to bring PhD students together from all three of our respective campuses (Uptown, Downtown, and Northshore) to hang out over some good grub. Many of the events that take place for our program occur on-campus and as part of larger, more formal series of events.

A dinner event for graduate students of the department of Earth and Environmental Sciences to facilitate end of term destress. The idea is to support each other by allowing exchange of feedbacks/ideas about academic, research, and career goals.

Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate students hangout and fun at Adventure Quest Laser Tag (1001 Elmwood Park Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70123) where we bond together playing laser tag, Bumper car and cosmic golf.

Summer softball league for grad students in GSSA (SSE and SLA). Previously, this league had been for grad students in SSE, but this year, we are excited to open it up to SLA grad students as well. Games are held on Monday nights at Evans Playground (5100 Lasalle St) throughout the summer. We welcome all experience levels, our focus is on friendly competition and having a good time.
