Biography

Kelsey Cummings is entering her third year as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Communication and Gender & Sexuality Studies at Tulane University. Her research on new media and identity has been published in the journals Television & New Media, Feminist Media Studies, Social Media + Society, Studies in the Fantastic, and Global Storytelling: Journal of Digital and Moving Images. She earned her PhD in Film and Media Studies from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020.
