Biography

Olamide Eniola (Ola, in short) is a PhD student in Linguistic Anthropology. He just concluded a one-year teaching and cultural exchange program at Michigan State University through the prestigious Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship program. Having a background in English Linguistics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, his research interest lies in language use in the media and language pedagogy in Yorùbá, his mother tongue. For his PhD dissertation, he will be researching media reports about terrorists' activities in Nigeria.
