Biography

Brandon Sanchez received his AA in Psychology from Palomar Community College in 2016 and then received his BA at UC Santa Barbara in Chicanx History in 2018. In 2020, Brandon obtained his MA in Latin American Studies at Cal State Los Angeles which led him to pursue a PhD in History at Tulane University. Brandon is interested in Race, Class, and Gender within the Guerrillas of Guatemala during the Guatemalan Civil War.

Guatemala, Central America, Latin America, Indigenous history, Black and Afro-Latinx history, Marxism, religion, gender & sexuality, Guerrillas and Revolutions, and Social Movements.
