Biography
Genesis is a PhD student in the Linguistics Program at Tulane. She holds a B.A. in English and Psychology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas where she studied the interface of Linguistics and protest as a research assistant.
At Tulane, Genesis is interested in Critical Discourse Analysis as a method for understanding dynamics of power in the legal system.
