Biography
Meredith Belloni is a doctoral student in the Interdisciplinary Linguistics Program. Her primary work is on ideophones in English. She is also currently conducting research on linguistic bias through a social psychology lens.
She received a BA magna cum laude in linguistics and cognitive science from Northwestern University in 2019. She also directed the University of Michigan’s neurolinguistics lab from 2019-2020.
Meredith’s other research interests include language processing and use in autism, cognitive linguistics, discourse analysis, and sociolinguistics of south Louisiana.
