Biography
Professor Jason S. David Seidman is a third generation entrepreneur, born and raised in New Orleans. He holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans and a JD from Tulane University Law School. In addition to teaching at Tulane, he is a serial entrepreneur, business consultant, product manufacturer, and children’s book author. (Benji the Beignet Saves Mardi Gras Day.) Over the last twelve years, he has started or helped start over one hundred businesses and manufactured more than a dozen products overseas. As co-founder of 52businesses, Jason helped others start a new business each week, every week, for a year. And, founded NOLATech Week, a city-wide, weeklong, unconference, which welcomed thousands of businesses and guests from all over the globe in a showcase of everything that New Orleans has to offer. Jason is currently a Visiting Associate Professor of the Strategy, Leadership and Analytics Minor (SLAM), as well as the Co-Director of Professional Development for SLAM.
