Biography

Linda Pollock, John Christie Barr Professor, is a historian of early modern England. She specializes in social history topics such as childhood, the family, emotions, religion and medicine.

I am currently writing a book on affect and morality in early modern elite society, 1550 to 1700, a work which crosses the boundaries of social, cultural and intellectual history.
