Research Interests: Primarily, they include the works of French-Caribbean women authors of the post-colonial era. This passion also extends to the representation of Black women in African American and French-Caribbean YA fiction and non-fiction novels written in the 20th and 21st centuries. My other research interests include creole languages across the Black diaspora; and race in the United States, France, and the French-Caribbean.
