Biography
Cheyma graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po). She also studied at Bryn Mawr College and the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests center on the interplay between literature, society, and politics, with a focus on the representation of minorities in postcolonial contexts. Drawing on a cross-cultural background shaped between France, Algeria, Tunisia, and the United States, she also explores these topics through her careers as a literary critic on social media and a fashion designer, in conversation with her lived experience as a woman.
