Biography
Annette Sojic is a Senior Professor of Practice in French. She joined the Department of French and Italian in 2006. Her teaching interests cover a broad range of disciplines, including, most recently, language pedagogy, applied linguistics, and business. Along with teaching, she has put her passion and effort into service learning. In the spring of 2014, she started a series of curriculum translation projects, in partnership with local French immersion schools. These projects have all been completed and published.
From 2014 to 2017, Annette Sojic served as Director of the French Language Program. At the beginning of the academic year 2018-2019, she started a new position as Director of the Professional French Program. Over the last 3 years, 100 % of the Tulane candidates have passed the CCI exam and obtained a DFP (Diplôme de Francais Professionnel) delivered by the Paris CCI (Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie).
