Biography

Dr. Cameron Leahy is a graduate of the Tulane University City, Culture, and Community Ph.D. program. He received his BA in Social Policy and Practice & Political Science from Tulane as well. Originally from St. Louis, MO, Dr. Leahy has called New Orleans home for the better part of 10 years. He has worked in criminal justice reform and disaster resilience during this time. His research focuses on disasters and marginalized populations, including how vulnerable groups cultivate preparedness and resilience. Courses taught include Social Problems and Foundations of Sociology.
