Biography

Alberto Rivera-Padilla is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Tulane University. He received his Ph.D. from Arizona State University in 2019 and was an assistant professor at California State University Fullerton before joining Tulane. His research interests include macroeconomics, development, and spatial economics. The main goal of his work is understanding income and productivity differences across countries using a combination of macro models and micro evidence.
