Biography
Maayan Mor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science. Her current research focuses on interactions between political identities, political parties, and political development in Western Europe and Israel. She also researches the causes of inequality in representation and the formation of party systems in Western Europe. Mor’s work has been published in the American Journal of Political Science and World Politics.
Prior to coming to Tulane University in the fall of 2024, Mor was a Visiting Researcher at the BMW Center for German and European Studies at Georgetown University. Before that, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institutions and Political Economy Research Group (IPErG) at the University of Barcelona, Spain. She earned her PhD in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. She also holds an MA in Political Science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel and BA in International Relations also from the Hebrew University.
