Biography

Mary’s research interests lie at the intersection of global governance, international development, and comparative politics. She published Gradual Economic Reform in Latin America: The Costa Rican Experience (SUNY Press, 2001) and numerous articles on development and healthcare reform in Central America. Her current research is about the struggle to move mental health up the global health agenda. Mary has also served in a variety of administrative positions at Tulane and is particularly experienced in building undergraduate and international programs.
