Austin Anderson

Austin Anderson has appeared in Sweeney Todd, The Pirates of Penzance, and Bernstein at 100! with SLT. He was most recently seen as Dr. Pomatter in Waitress at the Broadway Palm in Florida and will appear later this year as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Mac-Haydn Theatre in NYC. Richard Arnold was last seen on the Dixon Hall stage frantically checking his watch in She Loves Me (Georg). Other SLT favorites include Into the Woods (Baker) and The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert). Favorites elsewhere include Holiday Inn (Jim) at JPAS and Merrily We Roll Along (Franklin) at Le Petit Théâtre. Duncan Becker is excited to return to Summer Lyric Theatre again. Previous SLT designs include Pippin, Oliver! and RENT. He served as an electrician for Jesus Christ Superstar, Matilda, 42nd Street, She Loves Me, Big River, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Hello, Dolly!, and several others. First production with SLT in 2014.
Molly Beth Blanchard

Molly Beth Blanchard is so excited to be back at SLT, last seen as Rapunzel in Into the Woods! Other select credits include Anne of Green Gables: A New Musical (Anne Shirley; Ohio Northern University), Young Frankenstein (Dance Captain/Ensemble; Clinton Area Showboat Theatre), Cinderella (Gabrielle; Clinton Area Showboat Theatre), and Julius Caesar (Portia; Ohio Northern University). Glenn Avery Breed

Glenn Avery Breed's past costume designs for SLT include Sweeney Todd, The Music Man, She Loves Me, Ragtime, My Fair Lady, Gypsy, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Glenn is a Professor of Design Technology and Chair of Theatre at the University of West Florida. Glenn holds an MFA in Costume Design/Technology from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a BA from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. Glenn owns and operates Wardrobe Witchery Opera and Theatrical Costume Rentals. First production with SLT in 2016.
Aaron Brewer

Aaron Brewer is a New Orleans-based performer, producer, and educator. He holds a BFA and an MFA in Theatre Performance and recently established Kaleidoscope Theatre Company, which is preparing for its inaugural 2025/2026 season. He is an adjunct professor in the Theatre Department at UNO and teaches yoga around New Orleans. His favorite past roles include Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing, Ernst Ludwig in Cabaret, and Orin Scrivello, DDS, in Little Shop of Horrors. First production with SLT in 2021.
Jauné Buisson

Jauné Buisson has directed and choreographed Jersey Boys and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Le Petit Théâtre. Her choreography at SLT includes Anything Goes, She Loves Me, Ragtime, Hairspray, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Hello, Dolly!, Once Upon a Mattress, and Fiddler on the Roof. Onstage at SLT, she has performed as Fastrada, Cassie (Big Easy Award – Lead Actress in a Musical), Tessie Tura, and Lois. She is the Artistic Director of Metropolitan Dance Theatre of New Orleans. Leslie Castay is making her SLT directing debut! She will direct the regional premiere of Waitress at JPAS this fall. Big Easy Directing Awards: Holiday Inn (JPAS) and Musical of Musicals (Le Chat Noir). A seasoned four-time Broadway veteran, Leslie continues to perform—recently in Billy Elliot (JPAS), Goodnight, Oscar (Le Petit Théâtre), and numerous film and television projects (including Mayfair Witches on AMC). Leslie began her career at Dixon Hall, starring in many productions here, and is honored to come full circle. Thanks to Leonard, Michael Howard, and Frank Monachino. Stevie Cavalier

Stevie Cavalier is thrilled to make her SLT debut. Most recently, she starred in the National WWII Museum’s Expressions of America. Leslie Claverie is a hair and makeup designer, actor, director, and ensemble member of The NOLA Project. Lara Grice is overjoyed to return to the SLT stage, where she last appeared 23 years ago as Norma Cassidy in Victor/Victoria, a role that earned her a Big Easy Award. Most recently, she played Della in The Cake with Crescent City Stage. With over 100 credits in theatre, film, and television, Lara considers performing at SLT a career highlight and enduring privilege. Tess Guidry

Tess Guidry danced for the LSU Golden Girls for three years before completing five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, filming CMT’s Making the Team and touring nationally with the USO. She is currently the head coach of the University of Miami Dance Team and choreographs for Miami high schools, including productions of Chicago, Cinderella, and Hadestown. Tess is thrilled to return to the stage and share it once again with her best friend, Adam!

Laurin Hart

Laurin Hart has created looks for opera, theatre, ballet, and film throughout the region. A successful graphic artist and illustrator for over 30 years, Laurin expanded her artistic skill set to include makeup and body art under the tutelage of New Orleans’ long-time respected theatrical makeup artists, Don and Linda Guillot. In addition, she studied in New York and Las Vegas. Laurin is also an award-winning body painter. First production with SLT in 2012.

Leah Holewyne is excited to make her SLT debut in A Chorus Line. She is a junior Music Theatre major at Florida State University and hails from Houston, Texas. Keita Kawahara

Keita Kawahara is thrilled to return to the SLT stage after appearing in last year’s Anything Goes and Pippin. Violet Keller appeared in Summer Lyric Theatre’s Pippin in 2024 as a Player. She has performed with Rivertown Theaters in Kinky Boots, Newsies, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Violet taught and danced in RRB Inc. productions of Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Pas de Quatre, and The Nutcracker. Diane Lala

Diane Lala is Professor Emerita of Musical Theatre at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. At CCM, she has served as director/choreographer for such shows as 42nd Street, Carousel, Legally Blonde, and Singin’ in the Rain, to name a few. Many of her students have gone on to successful Broadway careers. Diane is a Certified Pilates Instructor and an associate member of SDC. She has directed and choreographed for SLT for the last 25 years. First production with SLT was in 1983.
Meredith Long-Dieth

Meredith Long-Dieth was last seen at SLT in Oliver! as Widow Corney. A graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory, she has performed across the country. Local credits include a Big Easy Award for Best Actress in Ruthless and a recent appearance in Billy Elliot at JPAS. Meredith toured nationally as Cha Cha in Grease alongside Frankie Avalon and Chubby Checker and played Ethel Toffelmier in The Music Man with Tony Award winners Gary Beach and Terrence Mann. Melissa Marshall is excited to be back at SLT! Bogdan Mynka

Bogdan Mynka, from Kharkiv, Ukraine, is thrilled to be making his SLT debut. He earned his Master’s in voice from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under Jerold Siena and Nathan Gunn. He is a student of Robert Wagner. Audiences recently saw him as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar on tour with JPAS and as Officer in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with the New Orleans Opera Association. He dedicates this performance to his brother and mother across the seas.
Siddalie Orgeron

Siddalie Orgeron is an 18-year-old singer, actor, and dancer who just graduated from the Musical Theatre Department at The New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. She has been part of her local theatre community for 12 years, with notable roles including Catherine of Aragon in Six and Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family. This fall, she will attend Webster University's Sargent Conservatory for a BFA in Musical Theatre. She is overjoyed to be on stage tonight as Marta in Company.

Rick Paul is very happy to be back with old and new friends in the beautiful Dixon Hall, filled with 46 years of memories. He is a Senior Lecturer at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The ballet Solstice brought Rick to New Orleans, and after designing the premiere of Out Cry with Tennessee Williams, he went on to design the New Orleans Ballet production of A Streetcar Named Desire, featuring the great New Orleans ballerina Karen Hebert as Blanche. Michael Paternostro

Michael Paternostro has been seen on Broadway in Guys and Dolls (1993 Revival), Fosse (Tony Award Best Musical), Sweet Smell of Success, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Saturday Night Fever (DJ Monty), A Chorus Line (Greg, 2006 Revival), and Soul Doctor (Moisheleh/Milt). His Los Angeles credits include Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere/LeFou), The Producers (Carmen Ghia, 1st National Tour; Ovation Award), and Showboat (Frank, Hollywood Bowl). He is the co-writer of Scary Musical, the Musical. New Orleans: Young Frankenstein, Goodnight Oscar. First production with SLT in 2024.
Bryn Purvis*
(Val, A Chorus Line)
Bryn Purvis is thrilled to return to the SLT stage, especially in A Chorus Line, the show that marked her SLT debut in 2014. She has also appeared in Hello, Dolly!, Cabaret, Once Upon a Mattress, and Annie Get Your Gun. Bryn holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from CCM. She dedicates this performance to Diane Lala— “I wouldn’t be here without you!” First production with SLT in 2014.
C. Leonard Raybon
(Artistic Director; Musical Director/Conductor, Carousel)
C. Leonard Raybon is thrilled to begin his first appointment as Artistic Director for Summer Lyric Theatre. He is Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choirs at Tulane University. Leonard is the founder of Sacred Nine Project (sacrednine.com), where he engages with music, texts, and events from an earlier America in order to help shape a future one. Leonard’s “The Busy Bee,” a setting of an Isaac Watts song text for TB or SA, is published by Santa Barbara. Leonard also hosts the Sacred Nine Project Podcast. First production with SLT in 1996.
Daniel Rigamer
(Greg/Dance Captain, A Chorus Line)
Daniel Rigamer loves working at SLT. Previously a “cut dancer/pit singer” in A Chorus Line, other favorite credits at SLT include Hello, Dolly!; Damn Yankees; Kiss Me, Kate; and Les Misérables. He is a costumer and performer throughout New Orleans with Le Petit Théâtre, Rivertown, Delta Festival, and Metropolitan Dance. Prior to moving back to New Orleans, Daniel worked on several Off-Broadway shows and taught Introductory Costume Design at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. First production with SLT in 2009.
David Rigamer
(Sound Design, A Chorus Line; Company; Carousel)
David Rigamer returns for his third season with SLT. With over two decades of experience, David designs audio and lighting for theatre and corporate events with his production company, AudioNOLA. Recent sound design by David include Jersey Boys and Beautiful at Le Petit Théâtre, and Newsies with the Jesuit Philelectic Society. David is an artist in residence at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) and a past Big Easy Award nominee. First production with SLT in 2023.
Ty Robbins
(Ensemble, Carousel)
Ty Robbins works as a theatre maker and lower education arts instructor. He has been seen with SLT in past seasons: The Music Man and Oliver!. He is a vocalist at St. Paul’s Episcopal. Credits: Walt Disney Entertainment, The View UpStairs (Patrick), Songs for a New World (Man 2), The School for Lies (Oronte), Measure for Measure (Provost; u/s), Assassins (Zangara). When not in the studio or on stage, Ty is feverishly typing his thesis work toward an MFA at the University of New Orleans. He is happy to work with SLT, his preferred vacation. Baylee Robertson
(Costume Shop Supervisor)
Baylee Robertson is thrilled to be part of her seventh season at Summer Lyric Theatre. Baylee is a costume designer, seamstress, and artist working within New Orleans’ theatre and dance scenes. Recent credits include Orpheus Descending (Tennessee Williams Theatre Company) and Rosie (National WWII Museum). Baylee is a proud alum of Loyola University ('20) and Mount Carmel Academy ('17 Butterfly), where she continues to return to design. Thank you, Kristi, always. First production with SLT in 2019.
Gabriella Santalla

Gabriella Santalla is a Cuban-American actress originally from New Jersey. This is her second summer with SLT! Recent credits include Sweeney Todd (SLT, Ensemble), Murder on the Nile (Jackie), Jekyll & Hyde (Ensemble), Jesus Christ Superstar (Ensemble), Urinetown: The Musical (Hope Cladwell), and The Fantasticks (Luisa). Scott Sauber
(Peter, Company)
Scott Sauber was last seen at SLT as the Purser in Anything Goes. He then won the Miss Glamouress title three times at Rivertown in Pageant, lit School of Rock for JPAS, traveled the rails as the Conductor on the Polar Express Train Ride, returned to Le Petit Théâtre as producer Bob Crewe in Jersey Boys, and rocked the Renaissance at Rivertown as Peter Quince in Something Rotten. He looks forward to directing Frozen for JPAS in the spring. First production with SLT in 2024.
Steve Schepker
(Scenic Designer, Company)
Steve Schepker is thrilled to be designing his first show with SLT. Last summer, he designed Tennessee Williams Theatre Company’s A Streetcar Named Desire. Previous production credits in NOLA include Goodnight, Oscar, Something Rotten!, and Baby Doll at Le Petit Théâtre, and The Pillowman, Flood City, and Sive with The NOLA Project. Jan Schluter

Jan Schluter is thrilled to be performing in Carousel, her 34th Summer Lyric show. A Newcomb College alum (Class of 1984), she was fortunate to be taught by Frank Monachino, Michael Howard, Alton Geno, and Beverly Trask. Favorite Summer Lyric shows include The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, 42nd Street, and Follies. Jan has also enjoyed performing on the Rivertown and JPAS stages. First production with SLT in 1980.
Eryn Short

Eryn Short has performed in Summer Lyric Theatre productions of The Music Man, 42nd Street, My Fair Lady, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Damn Yankees, and A Chorus Line. She is grateful to be part of this vibrant artistic community and to share the stage with so many talented artists. First production with SLT in 2014.
Jose C. Simbulan

Jose C. Simbulan is thrilled to be making his debut with SLT. Jose has worked at Barrington Stage Company, Milwaukee Rep, Baltimore Center Stage, and Arena Stage. He made his Broadway pit debut in Lestat and played regularly for the revival of A Chorus Line. He is an audition pianist for Disney Live Entertainment, CAP United, Unified Professional Theatre Auditions, and the Southeastern Theatre Conference. He is currently the lead Musical Theatre instructor at NOCCA.
Luke Sirinides

Luke Sirinides is happy to make his Summer Lyric debut! Recent local credits include Once Upon a Mattress (Sir Luce), Jekyll & Hyde (Simon Stride), Jesus Christ Superstar, A Christmas Story, and Assassins. Luke has sung tenor with the New Orleans Symphony Chorus in Haydn’s Creation, Handel’s Messiah, and Mozart’s Requiem. He is also a writer and playwright with an MFA from UNO. Susan Barrett Smith

Susan Barrett Smith happily returns to the Summer Lyric stage, where she has previously appeared in My Fair Lady, Oliver!, South Pacific, Damn Yankees, The Music Man, High Society, Victor/Victoria, The Will Rogers Follies, Crazy for You, Peter Pan, Sweeney Todd, Wonderful Town, and Anything Goes. Other credits include The Pirates of Penzance, Evita, Into the Woods, Chicago, Drood, The Women, and White Christmas. By day, she works as a historian for an archaeological firm. First production with SLT in 1993.
Eli Strain

Eli Strain is excited to return to the Summer Lyric Theatre stage! Previous credits include Anything Goes, The Music Man, and Matilda. An accomplished pianist, he recently served as Rehearsal Pianist/Key 1 for SLT’s Pippin. Eli is currently earning his BFA in Musical Theater at Carnegie Mellon University and is grateful for the continued opportunity to grow with this incredible community. Maya Tawatao is excited to be joining Summer Lyric this season! She recently received her MFA in Costume Production/Design from Tulane, where she designed Project Jane, Crumbs from the Table of Joy, and Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play. Victoria Thomas is thrilled to make her SLT debut! A native of Lafayette, she is a rising senior at the University of Texas at Arlington, pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. Khuyen Tran just graduated in May 2025 with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. While pursuing her degree, she performed in Godspell, The Wedding Singer, Now. Here. This., and The Pirates of Penzance. Also a choreographer, she recently choreographed an original piece in Transcend at LSMSA in Natchitoches. Kaelyn Turkmany is a New Orleans-based actor who just received her BA in Musical Theatre from Loyola University New Orleans. Chloe Vallot*

Chloe Vallot previously appeared in SLT’s production of The Music Man. A Ponchatoula native, Chloe lives in NYC and graduated from NOCCA and The Young Americans College of Performing Arts in California for MT. She toured with the YA’s worldwide, then taught at Swamplight Theatre, home of The KBPAP. Knox Van Horn is excited to be back at Summer Lyric! Equally at home in theatre and opera, he was recently seen at Le Petit Théâtre in Jersey Boys (Norm Waxman and others). Other credits include Dippy in Anything Goes and Ensemble in Sweeney Todd (Summer Lyric), Ferrando in Così fan tutte (Castelopera), and Priest in Die Zauberflöte (Mannes School of Music). Camille von Hoven

Camille von Hoven is thrilled to return to the SLT stage! She was last seen in Anything Goes (Chastity). Camille has also performed with JPAS, Rivertown, and Le Petit Théâtre. As a young dancer, she trained under Harvey Hysell and Diane Carney, later earning a minor in dance from Tulane University. She wants to thank Jauné and Diane for this opportunity and her husband, Frank, for always supporting her. First production with SLT in 2018.
Matthew Welch

Matthew Welch is ecstatic to be returning to Summer Lyric for his third season in a row. Recent credits include School of Rock (Theo/Jeff Sanderson, JPAS), Peter the Apostle (JPAS), and Jonas Fogg in Sweeney Todd at SLT. Look for him in the season two finale of Mayfair Witches and in the upcoming Netflix series The Corps. He is looking forward to making memories with loved ones this summer. Aaron Wiggins
(Bobby, A Chorus Line)
Aaron Wiggins has appeared in Summer Lyric Theatre productions of Newsies and Matilda. He is currently a company member of New Orleans Ballet Theatre, where he joined in 2022. He has also worked with local companies including Marigny Opera Ballet, Rivertown Theaters, and Mélange Dance Company. He recently choreographed and presented a crochet-inspired piece for Making Space New Orleans. First production with SLT in 2018.
Juan L Williams

Juan L Williams is glad to return to the SLT stage! He appeared on the SLT stage as Jacey Squires in The Music Man and Mr. Bumble in Oliver! He has performed with the New Orleans Opera for over 25 years as a chorister and in minor roles, including Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor (2023–24). He dedicates these performances to his family, chosen family, and the memory of his parents and sister. First performance with SLT in 1995.
Julie Winn

Julie Winn is elated to be designing for SLT again. Her costumes have been seen on most of the stages in the greater New Orleans area, among them The New Orleans Opera, Le Petit Théâtre, and many more. Additional choreography credits include Hairspray, The Prom, Matilda, and Cabaret (Rivertown Theaters), Elf the Musical (First Stage), The Addams Family (New Theater, KS), Grease, Wizard of Oz, and Cinderella (Fireside Dinner Theatre), TWITTER, Oscar Health, and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Daniel Zimmer

Daniel Zimmer received his formal training in design at New York's Studio and Forum of Stage Design and, for over 30 years, has designed theatre, dance, and opera productions in the New Orleans area. Daniel teaches stage design in the Entertainment Production Design department at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA). This is his 19th season with Summer Lyric Theatre. Favorites include Candide, Oliver!, A Chorus Line, Sunset Boulevard, and Ragtime. First production with SLT in 2005.
