Biography
Luke Auld-Thomas is a Ph.D. candidate in Archaeology and an affiliate of the Middle American Research Institute. He specializes in archaeological settlement analysis and remote sensing, and uses these to understand the articulation of social and environmental change. Since 2015, he has conducted fieldwork in northwestern Peten, Guatemala, at and around the site of El Achiotal.
