Biography

Erin Patterson is a Ph.D. candidate in Biological Anthropology and the Archive Manager at the Middle American Research Institute. She received her B.A. in Anthropology from the College of William and Mary and her M.A. in Anthropology from Tulane University. Her field and lab experience includes work in Virginia, Peru, Mexico, and Guatemala. Her dissertation research focuses on the health and diet of the Classic Maya at the sites of La Corona and El Perú-Waka’ in Guatemala. She has also used stable isotopes to reconstruct ancient migration patterns.
