    We are seeking to hire an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Comparative Politics of Advanced Industrial Democracies.   • Assistant Professor (Tenure-track) in Feminist Political Philosophy

    Position description: The Political Science Department at Tulane University, in conjunction with Tulane’s Gender & Sexuality Studies (GESS) Program, is seeking a tenure track Assistant Professor in Political Theory with a research focus on Feminist Political Philosophy and a strong interest in teaching for the GESS Program as well as Political Science. The successful candidate’s home department for tenure and promotion purposes will be the Political Science Department.

    The 2-2 teaching load will be split equally between the Political Science Department and the GESS Program. The successful candidate will contribute 2 classes per year in Political Theory and Feminist Political Philosophy in the Political Science Department at undergraduate and graduate curricular levels and will contribute 2 classes per year to the GESS Program (Introduction to GESS and upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses in Feminist and/or Queer Theory).
