Biography
Emily Capdeville earned her M.F.A. in Creative Writing with a specialty in Fiction from the University of New Orleans. Her fiction appears in the Crab Orchard Review and she won the William-Faulkner Wisdom prize for Novel-in-Progress. She earned an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Oregon and conducted research among Bamana-language fiction writers in Bamako, Mali. While teaching in the English department at Loyola, she has led study abroad programs in France, Ireland and Sicily.
