Biography

Mark W. Shealy is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Writing Program at Tulane University. He teaches first-year writing with an emphasis on rhetoric, digital culture, and the role of artificial intelligence in shaping authorship and meaning. His current research is developing a new framework for understanding how students and generative AI co-produce writing, treating authorship as an entangled process shaped by human and nonhuman agencies.
