Biography
Chief Business Officer Beth Wilson leads the core business functions of the School of Liberal Arts at Tulane University and serves as chief of staff to the Dean.
Her oversight includes the financial management; operations and administration; marketing and communications; human resources; facilities, space management and capital projects; and information technology for the largest school at Tulane. Working closely with the Dean's senior leadership team, she ensures that the focus and execution of the school's strategic initiatives align with the university's long-term mission and vision.
A talented leader with experience in nonprofit and private sector alike, Beth joined Tulane’s Department of Internal Audit in 2008 before becoming Assistant Dean for Finance, then Assistant Dean for Finance and Operations, at Newcomb-Tulane College. During her tenure at NTC, she led the college's core business functions, including financial management, college operations and administration, human resources and marketing and communications. She worked with the Dean and NTC senior team in the creation of strategic and financial planning to elevate and support the undergraduate student experience and position the college as a critical partner to the campus community. Prior to her time at Tulane, Beth worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in New York City.
Beth is a CPA with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from LSU.
