Biography
Richard Brunies is the Assistant Director for Research and Graduate Programs for the School of Liberal Arts. Richard oversees the operations of the SLA “4+1” accelerated MA Program where he works to develop greater resources and enhance learning experiences for students. In addition to his responsibilities in the “4+1” Program, Richard also aids students and faculty with numerous research and travel funding opportunities.
Richard earned his MA and BA in History from the University of New Orleans, after which he worked as a Research Assistant at the National World War II Museum. In 2021, Richard joined Tulane University as the Program Manager for Faculty Development and Mentoring Initiatives in the Office of Academic Affairs & Provost. He joined the School of Liberal Arts Dean’s Office in 2024.
