Biography
Anna is a graduate student at Tulane University pursuing a PhD in Biological Anthropology and is a Mellon Graduate Fellow in the Tulane School of Public Service. In the Greater New Orleans area, she currently functions as an extern for Healthy Gulf, providing aid for outreach and mapping projects related to “Finish the Job” in Louisiana. Anna is also a member of the GenderSci Lab of Harvard University. In 2023, Anna graduated from Appalachian State University with a BS in Anthropology with a concentration in Biological Anthropology. Prior to her time at Tulane, Anna worked as a Research Technician with Duke Clinical Research Institute, and as a full-time teacher. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary analysis of structural inequity, environmental justice, and stress related inflammation and pathology.
