Tenenbaum Tutorials in the Liberal Arts: Faculty Application

Interested faculty should apply below to be a faculty tutor for the Tenenbaum Tutorials scholars. Students, who represent all areas of the liberal arts, will select their own tutors for a 4-credit independent study to pursue the research project of their choice. Faculty can tutor up to two students each and will be compensated $3,000 per student and up to $6,000 per year. It does not replace one of your scheduled courses for the semester. The students receive up to $1,500 to reimburse their research expenses.

This form will help us communicate to students your interests and expertise. Tenure-track and professors of practice are eligible to apply. We will draw a 100-150-word statement from this form to be included on a website for the Tenenbaum Tutorials students.

Please consider this exciting opportunity. The goal of the program is to provide students with choices for faculty tutors, and we want to achieve diversity in terms of tutors, home departments, and interdisciplinary approaches.
