In a bright studio, on the third floor, just above the treetops, we offer the Above the Oaks mainstage dance production each semester Fall semester. Student works are adjudicated by the Newcomb Dance faculty for possible presentation at the regional American College Dance Association Festival (ACDA). Complete with lighting, music, costumes, and scenic elements, Above the Oaks offers student choreographers the opportunity to produce and to collaborate with department colleagues (faculty and students) as mentors and designers. Above the Oaks is presented in McWilliams 300 Dance Lab.
