The Argenti Fund

Description:  
The Argenti Fund is a donor-supported fund that will provide support for international activities in the classroom. The goal is to enrich classes that have an international focus. Such requests can include funds for films, supplies, projects, student research, or serve to supplement outside speaker funds. As this is a limited fund, the maximum that can be requested is $300. 

Deadlines:

  • August 30th for fall classes
  • January 30th for spring classes

Application Process: 

Individuals should submit a request to the Dean’s office that includes:

  1. A description of the class, including the number of students.
  2. The impact of the funds.
  3. A clear budget request.

Awards will be announced approximately 15 days after the proposals are due.

Please include course number and title, enrollment, and a brief overview of the budget, including the total amount of the request. If you will be using the funds to bring in a guest speaker to your class (in person or via Zoom), please also include their CV using the link below. By receiving this money, recipients will be expected to write a report on the use and impact of the funds.
