Performance Majors Auditions

No audition is required as part of the application process to Tulane, however a submission of a portfolio can strengthen an application. Please learn more about portfolio submissions and performing arts-related admissions events on the Tulane Admissions website or contact Nathaniel Malkow at nmalkow@tulane.edu in Admissions.

Students interested in majoring in theatre or dance should enroll in a department class their first semester. Auditions to pursue a performance degree (major) are held for enrolled students in the Fall for dance, and early Fall and Winter for theatre.

Performance degree auditions will be announced on this webpage, in all department classes, and department social media channels.
