What makes a star shine?

Who makes it as a celebrity? What careers support media talent? This 1-credit class is part boot camp, part networking, and part passion. You’ll be assigned a fictional singer-songwriter as your project. Over the course of 15 hours, you’ll meet with industry experts across contracting, licensing, streaming, touring, sales and merchandising to learn how professionals would contribute to making your talent a media star. This opportunity is limited to 15 students and requires a weekend of full attention to build the collaborative relationships needed in all creative and entertainment industries.
