Faster 15

Could 15 hours help set a course for your future career plans? Or help guide you to explore fields you may not have considered?

Tulane School of Liberal Arts is excited to announce a new initiative, the “Faster 15” career jump-start program, continuing the School’s commitment to developing students as leaders for the types of careers that have not yet been invented. The program combines student learning, faculty leadership, and professional networking to explore the future of work from multi- and inter-disciplinary perspectives. The program is geared to the pre-internship phase, which is a wonderful time to be curious about a world of possibilities and to be smart about knowing what you don’t know.

Students are hungry to secure a path to careers in a tough marketplace. Skills acquired from a liberal arts education are the keys to the careers of the future. Employers want to put those skills into practice.
In 15 hours, all three come together — putting theory into practice.

Student Learning Goals:

  • Pre-internship exposure to careers of the future
  • Active team learning, putting a liberal arts education into practice
  • Launch pad for professional networking

The “Faster 15” program will offer special 1-credit courses each semester, designed to accommodate 15 hours of engagement time, launching in Spring 2026. See below for course details of the next offering.
