The Department of Anthropology offers the MA and PhD degrees. Students receiving the MA do so through our 4+1 combined BS/BA+MA program. Students working toward the PhD degree may also receive an MA midway through their program. Current and complete Anthropology MA requirements, Anthropology PhD requirements, and a list of all Anthropology courses can be found in the Tulane University Catalog.
Financial Aid
All students admitted to pursue a full-time PhD receive five years of funding and a tuition waiver. For more details, see the School of Liberal Arts' Graduate Studies Resources page.
