Biography
A dedicated educator, Nick Chvany manages the 3D Art Shop with central tenants of inclusion, safety, and collaboration. After graduating Tulane University in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics, Nick spent eight years as a high school 3D modeling and Makerspace instructor in New Orleans, working to teach practical, career-oriented skills and certifications. In that time, he coached an award-winning robotics team, transformed his shop into a notorious haunted house each October, and was named 2022 Teacher of the Year. As an artist, Nick is currently exploring how visual cues and spatial orientation can influence the behavior of groups of people over time.
