Freeman Auditorium is located in the Menschel Art History Wing of the Woldenberg Art Center. The auditorium was designed to host special lectures and events and seats 190 people. It was constructed on the site of the former Newcomb gymnasium and swimming pool, part of the 1996 renovation and expansion of the Newcomb Art Department facilities. Freeman was recently renovated in 2014.
