AnnieLaurie Erickson is an active collective member at Antenna in the St. Claude Arts District and recently completed a residency at Yaddo. In 2016, Erickson was awarded an ATLAS grant (Award to Louisiana Artists and Scholars) to develop her project Data Shadows.
Prior to joining the faculty at Tulane, Erickson taught at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Montserrat College of Art, Endicott College, Harold Washington College, and ArtScience Labs through Harvard University. She has presented her artwork and teaching at both the College Art Association national conference and the Society for Photographic Education national conference.
Erickson’s work has been exhibited widely in the US and abroad, including: Higher Pictures, NYC; the Goethe-Institut, Washington, DC; Photographic Center Northwest, Seattle, WA; Newspace Center for Photography, Portland, OR; Contemporary Art Center, New Orleans, LA; Acadiana Center for the Arts, Lafayette, LA; Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, NYC; Boston Center for the Arts; and CentrePasquArt, Bienne, Switzerland. Notable press includes: The New Yorker, The Huffington Post, Oxford American, The Washington Post, Paper Magazine, Afterimage, and Foam Magazine.
